Kim Jong Un: Trump adds to confusion over North Korea leader’s health status

Asked about Kim’s status on Monday, Trump said, “I can’t tell you, exactly — yes, I do have a very good idea, but I can’t talk about it now. I just wish him well.” But later in the same press conference the President told reporters, “He didn’t say anything last Saturday. Nobody knows where he is so he obviously couldn’t have said it. This is breaking news that Kim Jong Un made a statement on Saturday. I don’t think so.”

Trump seemed to be referring to Kim’s message to workers in the country published in North Korean state-media Sunday but it was not immediately clear.

After CNN’s report published, National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien made clear the Trump administration is keeping a close eye on developments regarding Kim.

“We’re monitoring these reports very closely,” said during an interview with Fox News last Tuesday. “As you know, North Korea is a

  • Assist in locating appropriate medical services.
  • Inform your family or friends, with your permission.
  • Help transfer funds to the U.S. citizen overseas.

Although some health insurance companies pay “customary and reasonable” hospital costs abroad, very few pay for your medical evacuation back to the United States. Medical

Health Professionals Follow-Up Study

About HPFS:

The Health Professionals Follow-Up Study (HPFS) began in 1986. The purpose of the study is to evaluate a series of hypotheses about men’s health relating nutritional factors to the incidence of serious illnesses, such as cancer, heart disease, and other vascular diseases. This all-male study is designed to complement the all-female Nurses’ Health Study, which examines similar hypotheses. The HPFS is sponsored by the Harvard School of Public Health and is funded by the National Cancer Institute. Learn More About HPFS.

Thank you, participants! In 2018, nearly 90% of participants responded to the bi-annual study questionnaire. Their commitment provides the consistent data required to make progress in the study of men’s health.

INAHTA

The International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment

Health care decision making requires the right evidence at the right time.  Every day there are new health technologies available that can improve patient outcomes and refine health system efficiency.   Health technology assessment (HTA) is a tool to review technologies and provide evidence of the value these technologies can deliver to patients and their families, health system stakeholders, and to society more broadly.

INAHTA is a network of 51 HTA agencies that support health system decision making that affects over 1 billion people in 32 countries around the globe. With more than 2,100 staff and consultants working in the INAHTA network, there are clear benefits to connecting these agencies together to cooperate and share information about producing and disseminating HTA reports for evidence based decision making.

INAHTA serves this purpose.
