Mardi Gras 5 K Fun Run & Walk

Newest member of our race series, this non-timed, non-competitive 5K takes places on Kelley Barracks in early March every year. Join us for this festive, pet, stroller, child friendly race — for added fun, we have refreshments and beads at the finish line!

Cobblestone Classic *5 Mile Tank Trail Run

Held at the end of May or beginning of June, the Cobblestone Classic is a 5 mile race that starts at Panzer and ends at Patch barracks HUB parking lot. The course starts outside of Panzer main gate across the road on the other side of Panzerstrasse, follows the Historic Patch to Panzer Tank Trail for 5 miles, enters Patch through the back walker’s gate, and ends on Patch Barracks HUB parking lot. Each runner will be required to wear a specialized bib with the Cobblestone Classic logo and the date of the race imprinted on it for added force protection. The bibs are given out only on the day of the race to prevent replication. No runner will be allowed back into the back gate without this Cobblestone Classic racing bib. Anyone without a bib must enter through the main gate and present their I.D. card to be allowed back onto post.  Pet and stroller friendly. This is a timed race.

Run to Remember 5k and Half Marathon

The Run to Remember was started in 2008 at the request of the Chaplain for 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and has been held in July every year since. The race is dedicated to those brave men and women who have given their lives for our country in the post 9/11 era. The race starts at Panzer Kaserne at the Panzer Parade Field, continues out of the Panzer back gate and ends back at the Panzer Parade Field. The 5k is a 2.5K out and back while the 1/2 marathon proceeds through the Boeblingen Forest by range control for 13.1 miles and returns back to the Panzer Parade Field to finish. Strollers are allowed but not recommend as the terrain can be unstable. The course is pet friendly. This is a timed race.

The Great Pumpkin Run *5K Family Fun Run/Walk

“The Pumpkin Run” is an annual Halloween themed 5K fun run that starts in front of the Patch Fitness Center and proceeds to follow a 5K course inside Patch Barracks and finishing back in front of the Fitness Center where a race clock is set up at the finish line allowing runners to make note of their finishing times.  Refreshments will be at the finish line for hydration. Pet, Child, and Stroller Friendly. This is not a timed race.
